Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior level Windows Systems Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure and Operations team. This role is responsible for the advanced administration, troubleshooting, and optimization of our Windows-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Windows Server environments, Active Directory, virtualization, and enterprise-level system management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide Level 3 support for Windows Server infrastructure, including incident resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Administer and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, File storage, Print server and other core Windows services.
  • Manage and optimize virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Perform system upgrades, patch management, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Lead or participate in infrastructure projects, including migrations, deployments, and integrations.
  • Monitor system health and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
  • Maintain a knowledge base documenting systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Acts as the Level 3 escalation point for the Help Desk.
  • Mentor junior administrators and provide technical guidance.

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience) is required.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Windows systems administration.
  • Strong expertise in Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, Distributed File System, Windows server High availability and clustering.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience working with Dell PowerEdge servers and their RAID storage systems.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services and hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Experience with remote administration tools and secure access methods

 

 

Preferred Certification and Training.

  • Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, AZ-900, AZ-800)
  • Microsoft Applied Skills: Administer Active Directory Domain Services
  • ITIL certifications
  • CompTIA Server +

 

 

Working Conditions:

  • On-call rotation may be required.
  • PH time shift and remote work
  • Occasional after-hours work for maintenance and upgrades
  • Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace
  • Fully onsite for hardware installations or critical maintenance
