Opportunity Overview
As a Technical Writer, you will develop clear, accurate, and user-focused technical documentation that supports engineering, manufacturing, quality, service, and customer-facing teams. This role focuses on translating complex technical information into practical procedures, reports, guides, and communications that improve process consistency, knowledge transfer, audit readiness, and service execution.
- Create and maintain technical procedures, process documentation, service manuals, training materials, and user-facing support content.
- Document root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, failure trends, and engineering investigation outcomes in a clear and traceable format.
- Support engineering change, revision control, and lifecycle documentation, including change records, obsolescence plans, transition guides, and related technical references.
- Partner with engineering, quality, manufacturing, service, and field teams to gather technical inputs and convert them into accurate, standardized documentation.
- Prepare compliance, audit-readiness, customer communication, safety notice, and field-support documentation as needed.
All About You
You are a detail-oriented technical communicator who can organize complex engineering information into clear, accurate, and actionable documentation. You are comfortable working with technical teams, asking the right questions, validating information, and producing content that supports consistent execution, compliance, and customer success.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in technical documentation, engineering documentation, manufacturing documentation, service documentation, or a related role.
- Experience creating technical procedures, process documents, work instructions, service guides, training materials, reports, and customer or field support communications.
- Working knowledge of documentation control, revision management, quality systems, audit preparation, and structured technical reporting.
- Ability to summarize root cause analysis, corrective actions, failure trends, engineering changes, regulatory or compliance information, and lifecycle documentation clearly and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, clear technical communication, process-oriented thinking, collaboration skills, and stakeholder management capability.
