Opportunity Overview
The Test/Repair Operator plays a critical role in supporting Teradyne’s product testing and repair operations by operating essential equipment, systems, and infrastructure in accordance with established quality and safety standards. This position is intended to support current operational demands and workload requirements.
- Perform incoming and outgoing visual inspections of PCBAs to ensure workmanship and quality compliance
- Execute assembly and disassembly of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies
- Run required test processes, including (but not limited to):
- Installing PCBAs into test systems
- Connecting and disconnecting interface and power supply cables
- Installing device interface boards
- Executing appropriate test programs
- Perform repair activities on low‑complexity PCBA failures following defined work instructions
- Complete final preparation of PCBAs and coordinate transfer to the Final Quality Assurance (FQA) team for shipment readiness
- Collaborate with Engineers to support process optimization, quality improvements, and issue resolution

- Graduate of Electronics Technology, Industrial Electronics, or a related course
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow defined processes and quality standards
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Computer literate, with basic proficiency in common applications and systems
- Working knowledge of basic electronics principles
- Familiarity with basic test equipment, such as multimeters
- Basic soldering skills or demonstrated understanding of standard soldering practices
