| Role Summary |
| Test/Repair Operators operates equipment, systems and infrastructures required for testing Teradyne products, and executing test processes while adhering to quality standards. |
| Test/Repair operators will also work with Engineers for process and quality improvements |
| Role Functions |
| Perform incoming and outgoing visual inspection of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) |
| Perform assembly and disassembly of PCBAs |
| Run required test processes, including activities such as (but not limited to) installing PCBA into testers, attaching/disconnecting interface and power supply cables, installing device interface boards, and running the appropriate test programs. |
| Interpret test scripts, perform basic failure isolation of PCBAs and follow defined "failure and fix" steps. Escalate undefined failures to Technicians, Engineers, or Supervisor. |
| Perform repair on low-complex PCBA failures |
| Perform final preparation of PCBAs and shipping to final quality assurance (FQA) team. |
| Role Requirements (Must-Have Skills) |
| Detail-oriented |
| Good communication skills |
| Computer literate |
| Knowledgeable in basic electronics |
| Knowledgeable in operating basic test equipment such as a multimeter |
| Knowledgeable in basic soldering |
| Education Requirement |
| Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduates |
