The Cebu Warehouse supervisor is overseeing the day-to-day operations of Teradyne's warehouses, and monitoring of the productivity of its staff. The warehouse supervisor works in busy environments where priorities can change at a moment's notice.  The roles of the warehouse supervisor include:

 

Duties / Essential Functions:

•     Supervise, direct and review work plan for Material Handlers' daily activities.

•     Manage and coordinate the organizational, staffing, and operational warehouse activities.

•     Select, train, motivate, and evaluate assigned personnel.

•     Work with Material Handlers and other departments to revolve issues.

•     Perform a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.

•     Monitor overall warehouse utilities and materials usage.

•     Maintain, evaluate, and improve overall warehouse productivity.

•     Provide assistance in improving warehouse space utilization to achieve maximum warehouse efficiency.

•     Ensure that records and documents are regularly updated and followed.

•     Ensure that basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety guidelines are followed.

•     Coordinate with 3PLs and Manpower Service Providers

•     Participate in the development and implementation of goals, initiatives, procedures, and priorities of the organization

•     Prepare and present business review reports

•     Maintain accurate records and files of inventory usage

•     Assist with budget preparation, administration and control.

•     Discover new trends and innovations in the fields of warehousing and storage programs.

•     Keep abreast of latest logistics trade policies and regulations affecting warehousing processes.

•     Work with Central Logistics on projects and initiatives involving Cebu Logistics.

 

 

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required:

To qualify, candidates must have:

 •      Degree in supply chain, business, management, logistics, Industrial engineering or a related field preferred.

•     Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position.

•     Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.

•     Time management skills.

•     Excellent management and organizational skills.

•     Solid communication skills.

•     Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry software.

•     Oriented towards finding solutions to problems.

•     Strong change management skills

•     Flexible to work on weekends/holiday
