Material Planning Manager (Teradyne, Penang)

Opportunity Overview

This position is responsible for leading and managing the Master Scheduling Team based in Penang.

• To work with Marketing specialist to understand customer needs, figure out ways to support customer orders, result orientated.
• Analysis Customer changes order requests, internal review ATPs, run Simulation with contract manufacturers to provide the best delivery commit in time manner.
• To Calculate and put up demand variance buffer model in place to position independent forecast to support customer changes within drop window.
• Be on top of any issues that may impact time delivery, such as shortages, drop in demand, quality issues and related ECO changes impact and so on.
• Be responsible for the ECOs/deviation review and approval.
• LTB parts ATP control and Commit.
• Be responsible for clearing the paperwork that impact slots on time launch and shipping—CORC, Bookings and shipping hold.
• Be responsible for Refurb material application and approval process.
• Be on top of major customer changes, and any issues might impact delivery commit, work closely with marketing team, CMs, engineering, logistic team and PM team to ensure 100% OTD.
• Process maintenance and optimization.
• Set up training plan & back up plan.

• Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BS) is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a master scheduling, planning& purchasing related area.
• Must possess in-depth knowledge of master scheduling, material planning related position, with strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills, along with a proven ability to implement solutions to complex problems.
• Candidate must be able to "juggle" multiple tasks, projects, and process execution responsibilities in an extremely fast paced and dynamic environment.
• Understanding inside and outside of MRP regen logic, candidates with Oracle and Rapid response experience is a PLUS.
• Data driven, analytical thinking & problem solving. Experienced user of excel, RR and any other data driven analysis tools. CPIM certification is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are a necessity
