Opportunity Overview
As a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) within the Semiconductor Test (SemiTest) business unit, you will play a critical role in enabling customer success through technical expertise, problem solving, and close collaboration with customer engineering teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a New College Graduate (NCG) to develop deep technical knowledge while working directly with leading semiconductor companies and Teradyne's advanced automated test solutions. Based in Haifa, Israel, you will serve as a trusted technical resource, helping customers maximize the value of Teradyne platforms throughout the product lifecycle.
· Support customers as the primary technical contact for ATE hardware, software, and test program issues.
- Recommend and implement optimal test solutions using Teradyne platforms and technologies.
- Assist customers in developing, debugging, and optimizing test programs to improve yield, test coverage, and test efficiency.
- Deliver technical training and enablement programs for customer engineering teams on Teradyne products, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with R&D, Product Marketing, Service, and Engineering teams to address customer requirements and influence future product development.
- Build strong technical partnerships with customers and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support customer escalations and drive timely resolution of complex technical challenges.
- Travel up to 10% to customer sites and internal meetings as required.

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- New College Graduate or early-career engineer with a strong technical foundation.
- Exposure to semiconductor testing, validation, characterization, or Automated Test Equipment (ATE) environments.
- Understanding of digital, mixed-signal, RF, analog, or power semiconductor devices.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and product development processes.
- Programming experience in C#, C++, Visual Basic, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and customer-facing environments.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
