Opportunity Overview

As the Cyber Resiliency Manager, you are accountable for the strategy, preparation, and execution of the company’s cyber and IT resiliency program, including crisis planning, recovery assurance, remediation validation and the verification of critical suppliers’ resiliency.

You will leverage your strong technical background to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate the impact of business interruptions, from minor to catastrophic. You will work Cooperatively with cross-functional teams to ensure our business remains secure and resilient in the event of any unforeseen disruptions; identifying, assessing, and evaluating risks and opportunities and mitigating risks that may significantly affect the company’s ability to achieve its strategic goals.

 

You should expect to be involved in a wide range of stimulating engagements, from executive level exercises and threat reviews, through optimization of resilience controls, to providing business continuity, technology, and cyber resilience support.   • Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans, including risk assessments, continuity strategies, and response procedures. Collaborate with key stakeholders and third-party vendors to define and maintain resilience requirements for critical business processes. Define and maintain the order of system restoration to return to critical business operations.
  • Disaster Recovery Testing: Plan, execute, and evaluate regular disaster recovery exercises to validate the effectiveness of recovery plans and make necessary adjustments. Coordinate disaster recovery testing exercises, cooperating with IT, security, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment between disaster recovery and security strategies, and ensuring failover capabilities are in place to aid disaster recovery.
  • Supply chain: Identify critical supply chain, distribution and contract manufacturing needs, evaluate risk, drive mitigation steps and report residual risk state
  • Crisis Response: Drive crisis response preparation including development of playbooks, conducting tabletop exercises and ensuring the readiness of emergency notification and communication mechanisms
  • Incident reaction: Guide and/or assist disaster recovery efforts in the event of a disruption, coordinating the reaction and recovery activities and working with teams to minimize downtime.
  • Risk Management: Validate responses and mitigations from security assessments, penetration tests, audits and other verification requirements. Communicate residual risk state of resiliency status, mitigation plans, strategy and roadmaps through dashboards and presentations in governance forums, guidance meetings, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and evolving threats to continually improve disaster recovery capabilities. Proactively distribute best practices with the larger IT and business communities.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technology related discipline.
  • 7-10 years’ experience in Information Technology/Information Security (ideally in an enterprise environment that is global, regulated and does manufacturing)
  • Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining comprehensive disaster recovery plans.
  • Experience in coordinating and guiding disaster recovery exercises and response efforts.
  • Strong knowledge of disaster recovery methodologies, tools, and technologies.
  • 7+ years of project management experience, may be relational of the above.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate resiliency related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.
  • Successful experience working, collaborating, and establishing credibility and relationships across the company.
  • Ability to escalate issues at the right time/level and ability to bring teams collectively to resolve issues in a productive manner.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize, and manage multiple efforts.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and with tight deadlines.
  • Certification such as CBCP or equivalent desirable.
