Opportunity Overview
The Teradyne Factory Applications group is seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and technically accomplished Engineer to join our newly formed Factory Applications Solutions Integration Team.
This team is responsible for driving the breadth of Factory Applications adoption across global field organizations and customer engagements. While other teams focus on deep expertise within individual applications, the Solutions Integration Team will focus on integrating capabilities across the Factory Applications portfolio to deliver cohesive, scalable solutions that solve complex customer challenges.
In this role, you will act as a technical leader, trusted advisor, and integration expert across multiple Factory Applications domains. You will work closely with product engineering, field applications, account teams, and customers to accelerate solution deployment, identify cross-application opportunities, and influence future product direction based on real-world customer workflows.
- Serve as a technical leader for cross-application Factory Applications solutions and integration strategies.
- Drive adoption of Factory Applications across global field teams through enablement, training, mentoring, and best-practice development.
- Partner with product development teams to define requirements, validate use cases, and influence product roadmaps from a system-level perspective.
- Identify and develop integrated workflows that span multiple Factory Applications products and customer manufacturing processes.
- Lead technical engagements with strategic customers and provide expert consultation on solution architecture and implementation.
- Collaborate with peer application experts to combine deep domain expertise into end-to-end customer solutions.
- Develop technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and reference architectures that showcase integrated Factory Applications capabilities.
- Support key design-ins and customer deployments, ensuring successful adoption and measurable business outcomes.
- Analyze customer workflows, manufacturing challenges, and data flows to recommend innovative solutions.
- Create and deliver technical presentations, training materials, and user guidance for internal and external audiences.
- Build strong relationships with worldwide account teams, field engineers, product managers, and engineering organizations.
- Track industry trends and emerging manufacturing technologies to identify future integration opportunities.
- Represent the voice of the customer in new product development and strategic planning discussions.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across cross-functional initiatives.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
- 15+ years of experience in semiconductor test, manufacturing software, factory automation, or related technical fields.
- Demonstrated technical leadership in complex, multi-disciplinary engineering environments.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and test workflows.
- Experience integrating software applications, data flows, and manufacturing processes into complete solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with software development and automation tools, including Python, C#, .NET, or similar technologies.
- Ability to influence without authority and effectively lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including customer-facing technical presentations.
- Proven ability to work independently while driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative, customer-focused mindset.
- Experience with DevOps, workflow automation, analytics platforms, or factory integration solutions is a plus.
- Knowledge of Teradyne ATE platforms, semiconductor test program development, manufacturing execution workflows, and yield analysis is highly desirable.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $180,300 to 288,500. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
