Teradyne are looking for a talented and experienced PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in PCB design using Cadence software, as well as a thorough knowledge of electronics industry standards and practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Create and develop complex PCB designs using Cadence software.
• Work closely with design, manufacturing and test teams to ensure design optimization and feasibility.
• Perform simulations and analyses to verify the electrical integrity and thermal performance of PCBs.
• Write and maintain technical documentation associated with PCB design projects.
• Participate in technical reviews and provide recommendations to improve designs.
• Ensure compliance of designs with industry standards and regulations.
• Resolve design and manufacturing problems in collaboration with the relevant teams.
• Update and manage component libraries in Cadence software.
• Provide validation support on the boards to the design team

Job Qualifications and Skills

• Electronics BSEE or equivalent degree
• 5+ years of HW design experience.
• Proven experience in PCB design using Cadence software.
• Excellent understanding of PCB design principles, including signal integrity and thermal management.
• Proficiency in the use of simulation and analysis software associated with PCB design.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical specifications.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of IPC and other relevant industry standards is an asset.
