Project Manager: Production Board Test

Position Summary
Teradyne is seeking an execution-oriented and customer-facing Project Manager to lead the delivery of Production Board Test solutions for strategic customers in Taiwan. This role serves as the primary interface between the customer and Teradyne, ensuring that project requirements are clearly defined, aligned internally, and executed on schedule.

The Project Manager will partner closely with customers, applications engineering, product development, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable plans and drive projects from concept through deployment. This individual will own day-to-day communication with the customer on progress, risks, and timelines, while ensuring internal teams are aligned and accountable to deliver against commitments.

Impact & Opportunity
This role is critical to strengthening Teradyne’s customer engagement model by providing a single point of ownership for project execution. The Project Manager will improve customer confidence, accelerate time-to-delivery, and reduce friction between customer expectations and operational realities.

By integrating closely with applications and product development teams, this role will ensure that customer requirements are fully understood and effectively executed. The Project Manager will play a central role in aligning technical delivery, schedule commitments, and customer satisfaction, directly contributing to long-term account growth.


Key Responsibilities
•    Customer Engagement & Requirement Definition: Serve as the primary customer interface for all project related activities. Lead requirement gathering discussions, ensuring clear documentation and alignment on scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
•    Project Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements. Drive execution against plan and ensure delivery commitments are met.
•    Status Communication & Reporting: Provide regular, structured updates to customers on project status, including progress, risks, and mitigation plans. Maintain transparency and proactively manage expectations.
•    Factory Integration & Coordination: Work closely with engineering and operations teams to align on build schedules, resource constraints, and delivery timelines. Ensure seamless coordination between customer needs and manufacturing execution.
•    Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the central integration point across Sales, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Operations to ensure alignment between customer requirements and internal execution.
•    Issue & Risk Management: Identify project risks and issues early, escalate appropriately, and drive resolution to maintain project timelines and customer satisfaction.
•    Schedule & Timeline Ownership: Own the end-to-end project timeline, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and accountable to deliver on commitments.
•    Customer Satisfaction & Relationship Management: Build strong, trust-based relationships with customer stakeholders. Serve as a reliable and responsive partner, ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

 


Essential Functions
•    Own the end-to-end delivery of customer projects from requirement definition through deployment 
•    Maintain a single, clear project plan with defined milestones, owners, and timelines 
•    Establish and run regular customer and internal project cadence meetings 
•    Ensure alignment between customer requirements and factory execution plans 
•    Track project performance against schedule, scope, and deliverables 
•    Drive timely resolution of issues and risks impacting delivery 
•    Provide clear, concise, and proactive communication to both internal and external stakeholders 
•    Ensure accurate documentation of customer requirements and agreed-upon changes 
•    Enable a structured and repeatable project execution model for customer engagements

 

Required Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education
•    5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in semiconductor test, electronics manufacturing, or capital equipment delivery 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field 
•    Proven experience in customer-facing roles with strong communication and stakeholder management skills 
•    Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects across global teams 
•    Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail 
•    Ability to operate in dynamic environments and manage competing priorities 
•    Fluent in English and Mandarin
