RF Field Application Engineer (SEG, Hsinchu Taiwan)

Opportunity Overview

1. Develop and maintain ATE (Automated Test Equipment) programs for RF and mixed-signal devices.
2. Collaborate with design, product, and test engineering teams to define test plans and ensure test coverage.
3. Perform device characterization, correlation, and yield analysis.
4. Debug and optimize test programs to improve test time, accuracy, and reliability.
5. Support production ramp-up, yield improvement, and failure analysis.
6. Interface with overseas manufacturing sites and provide technical support for test-related issues.
7. Document test procedures, results, and best practices.

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in RF or mixed-signal ATE test development.
3. Hands-on experience with RF instruments such as Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators.
4. Proficiency in test programming languages such as C/C++, Python, LabVIEW, or .NET.
5. Familiarity with ATE platforms (e.g., Advantest, Teradyne, NI STS) is a plus.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
