Opportunity Overview

Teradyne Production Board Test Division is looking for Senior Field Application Engineer who will be responsible for coordinating application support effort for customers in Taiwan, including test development, on site support and training.

• Manage ICT test development projects, ensure timely delivery and quality of deliverables.
• Coordinating support activities among the local team to satisfy customer requirements.
• Communicate with customers to ensure understanding of customer requirements and to receive updated information from customers.
• To work closely with application team from other region  ( Asia, USA, Europe ).
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of required materials ( Test Fixture, customized parts & etc ).
• Work with service team to address customer’s daily production issue.
• Develop test solution base on customer’s specific requirement.
• Conduct training for customers.
• Collect information and feedback to engineering to resolve a hardware or software problem.

• Minimum 5 years working experience in testing related function in SMT / PCBA business. Good knowledge in ICT test will be a strong advantage.
• Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• Familiar with SMT manufacturing environment.
• Experience in language based programming.
• Familiar with computer, server or other similar product architecture. Good knowledge in IC components such as Flash, MCU, CPLD, CPU chipset & etc.
• Strong team player with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and your native language.
• Willing to travel within and out of the country.
