Opportunity Overview

Location：　Kumamoto Office

Teradyne Japan’s Quality Assurance Group is seeking a highly motivated, technically driven Product Support Engineer to deliver world-class support for current and future generations of Teradyne Semiconductor Test Products. This role demands deep technical expertise in Teradyne’s product portfolio and a strong commitment to providing timely, effective solutions in a dynamic customer environment. It offers a challenging global support opportunity that spans multiple engineering disciplines.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert across a broad range of Teradyne platforms and products.
  • Provide timely and accurate technical support to field organizations for diverse customer issues
  •  Identify opportunities to leverage technology to enhance customer support delivery
  • Analyze trends and propose system reliability improvements
  • Collaborate with the Product Development teams to ensure successful deployment of new products
  • Develop support and training documentation for global teams
  • Conduct training sessions to share knowledge with field service engineers worldwide.

Requirement and Skills 

  • Understanding of electrical/electronic circuits, power systems, networking and programming (C/C++/VBA)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in technical support or engineering
  • Advanced data analysis skills
  • Excellent critical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing and editing in English and/or Japanese
  • Commitment to product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction
  • Effective presentation and training skills
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, and hands-on approach to work
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%

 

Preferred Skills

  • BS in Electrical, Computer or Mechanical engineering
  • Experience with Design for Serviceability and Reliability
  • Background in Semiconductor testing
  • Advanced proficiency in computer systems, analysis tools, and engineering software

歓迎するスキル： 

  • 電気、コンピュータ、または機械工学の学士号
  • サービサビリティおよび信頼性設計の経験
  • 半導体テストに関するバックグラウンド
  • コンピュータシステム、解析ツール、エンジニアリングソフトウェアの高度な習熟度
