Opportunity Overview
As a Field Application Engineer, you’ll play an important role in creating innovative test concepts and solutions that match our customers’ needs. You will deploy test applications that deliver solutions which are efficient, robust, and cost-effective.

In this role, you’ll work closely with Teradyne engineers and the engineering teams at our customers’ organizations, working together to achieve great results on every project. Supporting customer engineers with test applications will be a big part of your job, making sure everyone has the tools and guidance to succeed.

You’ll also lend your ideas and support to the Sales team by sharing creative and practical application concepts that help grow our business. Leading training sessions for both customer and internal engineering teams is another key part of this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test concepts and solutions based on customer specifications
• Release programs against customer requirements
• Work on projects in a team of Teradyne and customer engineers
• Provide test applications support to customer engineers
• Support the Sales team with strong and creative applications concepts
• Conduct training classes
• Travel in Central- and Northern Europe if needed for the project

Qualifications and Skills

We’re looking for candidates with a degree in electronics engineering and a strong grasp of electrical circuit technology. Experience with collaborative software development processes and related tools will help you thrive.

A history of completing projects successfully and on time is important. Building genuine, trustful relationships with key customers is also a must for this role.

If you’re curious about the latest technology trends, especially in the semiconductor field, you’ll fit right in. Previous experience working with semiconductor test systems is a bonus we’d love to see.
