Accounting Director - Semiconductor Test Division

Teradyne has an immediate need for an Accounting Director  to join the Semiconductor Test Finance Organization at our corporate offices located in North Reading, MA.  The individual will be an important leader within the Semiconductor Test Finance, responsible for our Consolidated Financial Reporting and effective SOX controls within the Semiconductor Test Division reporting to the Vice President of Finance.  In addition, you will also be responsible for financial support and management of our Cost Accounting, Sales and Marketing, Solutions Engineering and System Level Test functions.  You will also integrate effectively within the overall Teradyne financial community and will manage a global staff.  This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career and be a strategic partner in a market leading company.

Responsibilities:
 

• Functional oversight of Sales and Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Cost Accounting and System Level Test responsible for all finance related activities
• Ensure overall compliance to SOX and GAAP for financial reporting of Semiconductor Test division
• Responsible for all aspects of reporting quarterly results for Semiconductor Test and preparation of quarterly forecast to Division President and CFO
• Responsible for all financial aspects of System Level Test Business Unit
• Drive process improvements and automation to streamline and improve reporting process
• Manage a global finance team with 4 direct reports
• Support Vice President of Finance in growth and development of the finance team

Basic Qualifications & Skills:
 

• 10+ years accounting or related experience
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to think independently
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Occasional travel as needed, including annual trip to Asia.  

Education:
 

• Bachelors degree preferably in Accounting or Finance, CPA or MBA preferred.
