Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated student to join our team as an ECAD Tools and Infrastructure Intern. This internship will seek to automate the creation of the ECAD model library.

  • Map industry CAD models to Teradyne standards to boost overall team efficiency
  • Automate the addition of Teradyne DFX requirements by utilizing scripting tools and industry-leading design automation software
  • Auto-generate CAE models to reduce manual errors and ensure high quality outputs

  • Must be pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of PCB Design
  • Experience with a scripting language like Python or Perl
  • English Proficiency
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration, organization, and communication skills.
  • Excellent attitude and initiative to propose solutions to problems that don’t have a resolution yet.
  • Ability to multitask

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Cadence Allegro or similar PCB design software
  • SKILL programming experience a plus
  • AI understanding and how it can be applied to PCB design

 

 

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

 

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

 

Compensation:
The base hourly range for this role is $25.50-$47.00. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
