Our Purpose:
Teradyne in North Reading, MA is hiring for a Finance Manager. In this role you will be a Business Partner to the Production Board Test and Defense and Aerospace divisions, including division president, R&D, Marketing and Sales functional heads.
Please note that this position requires a minimum of two days onsite in North Reading.
** Due to ITAR compliance, this position requires candidates to be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.
Opportunity Overview:

Support and drive annual growth, including transition to new products and entrance into new market segments. Prepare and present ROI and scenario plans against multiple business alternatives. Develop the Annual and Mid-Term plans for both divisions

Lead and direct team of 7 financial analysts / accountants located worldwide in support of the business

Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems for the division, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. As well as guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.

Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results on budget vs actual; monitor progress and changes and keep the senior team informed of financial status.

Lead the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of revenue recognition, POC accounting, contracts review, inventory, invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset records, general accounting, etc.

Prepare departmental budgets with input from department managers.

Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Direct and supervise accounting staff to ensure adherence to GAAP, internal controls, and company policies and procedures.

Accounting Degree (with thorough knowledge of accounting fundamentals and procedures) required.

CPA license strongly preferred.

10+ years of relevant experience
