Organization & Role

Teradyne has an immediate opening for an Accountant/Financial reporting analyst to join the Corporate Finance team at our corporate office located in North Reading, MA.  This individual will be an active member of the Corporate Accounting group assisting with the preparation for our financial consolidation and external reporting.

•    Prepare SEC filings including Press Release Form 8-K, Form 10-Q and Form 10-K. 
•    Review iXBRL tags and cross referencing supporting schedules for SEC filings.
•    Implement new accounting standards and determine disclosure requirements.
•    Work with external auditors to ensure quarter end requests are provided in a timely manner.
•    Perform monthly foreign exchange remeasurement process and analysis.
•    Manage lease accounting process, review and approve new lease contracts and perform worldwide lease right-of-use asset and liabilities reconciliation.
•    Prepare corporate allocation entries such as fixed assets and net natural liabilities allocations. 
•    Perform monthly reconciliation for cash accounts.
•    Ad hoc requests for financial analysis related to various corporate projects.
•    Prepare/coordinate filing of government forms.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

•    Minimum 2 year accounting experience, public accounting experience is preferred.
•    Strong accounting and analytical skills.
•    Problem solving and prioritization skills are a must.  
•    Must be able to work independently. 
•    Proficiency in MS Excel & Word.
•    Experience with Oracle is a plus.


    Bachelor degree preferably in Accounting, CPA or MBA preferred.
