Opportunity Overview
Global Director of Contracts
We are hiring a business oriented Global Director of Contracts to manage our global contracting process and to negotiate contracts for the Company and its subsidiaries, including customer purchase agreements, supplier agreements, NDAs, MOUs, license agreements, consignment agreements and development agreements. This person will support and advise internal clients in sales, operations and supply chain. This person must also have the skillset and drive to continue the implementation of a worldwide contracts management system, and to partner with other contracts and legal staff worldwide.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with superior interpersonal skills, who excels in a fast-paced demanding environment and is able to successfully manage competing priorities and work independently on a wide range of contracts, while delivering quality work under a tight timeline.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, revise, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts with customers and suppliers.
- Support and advise internal clients in sales, operations and supply chain on contractual matters.
- Analyze risk for the Company. Maintain a tracking system to ensure accurate status reports on all pending transactions.
- Manage commercial contract approval and signature process and interact with executive staff for execution of commercial contracts.
- Maintain a central electronic repository for storage of executed contracts and related documents.
- Work with management to establish and/or improve documented contract workflow procedures.
- Ensure the Company’s contract forms are accurate and well maintained.
- Drive change across the organization.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 15 years of experience in negotiating commercial contracts, preferably for technological companies, with a practical business sense. This is a lead negotiator role.
- Experience with implementation and use of contract management systems including updating templates.
- Possesses superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines. Process oriented but also flexible given the internal or external customer.
- Excellent writing, verbal, computer and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze and track complex information.
- Willingness and ability to learn new substantive skills and develop and expand existing ones.
- Team oriented attitude with ability to deliver constructive and creative support; ability to collaborate across reporting lines and geographies.
- Ability to thrive under pressure.
