Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the Head of HR technology & HR Operations leads our HR technology & Analytics, HR Service Center, and Project Management (PMO) functions. This individual will blend tactical day-to-day work with strategic thinking and planning to advance the efficiencies of human resources services offered to employees across Teradyne’s Semiconductor Test and Robotics businesses. This is a hybrid role located in our North Reading, MA office.

This role requires a high level of collaboration, interpersonal effectiveness, and technical skill to deliver and maintain and enhance a modern HR technology system, evolve HR operations processes, and build a PMO capability. This position will report directly to the CHRO.

We are searching for a driven, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual who is comfortable multitasking and working independently. This individual will join a highly collaborative and high performing, globally distributed team.

 

What You Will Do

  • Provide project leadership in implementing new processes and workflows across all HR systems and HR operations. Including requirements gathering; researching and resolving problems; participating in testing activities; and recommending and delivering solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements and drive a positive employee experience
  • Develop the “AI in HR strategy” to evaluate day-to-day work across HR disciplines and determine how AI could drive a more positive, productive experience.
  • Acts as change management champion for systems and processes, facilitating and communicating HR process and policy updates and changes
  • Maintain, review, test, and implement HR technology system updates and enhancements, as well as employee data Assist with preparation and management of HR annual processes such as performance management, compensation planning, and benefits open enrollment Collaborate closely with system vendor support and IT to establish and maintain various system integrations
  • Oversee HR analytics and reporting
  • Research and resolve issues to ensure compliance, data integrity/accuracy, and data privacy Develop and update documentation to ensure compliance and capture continuous process improvements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, using technology to streamline and standardize processes and policies while improving efficiencies.
  • Implement and oversee data governance that maintains the integrity of data in HR related systems.
  • Actively stay up to date on laws that impact HR Services.
  • Align HR technology strategy and processes to support the teams’ priorities.
  • Apply your technical experience with SAP SuccessFactors to help solve, inform, and influence how our HR tools operate and decision making for our HR technology team.
  • Support management on structural policy matters related to SAP SuccessFactors and other HR team systems (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Jira, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Set the HR team technology roadmap and ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Stand up the right service model for change management initiatives.
  • Maintain data integrity in systems by regular audits and ensure Sox compliance.
  • Design user-friendly processes, guidelines, and documentation.
  • Ensure all HR-related systems stay coordinated with data protection laws.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors in key modules (Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation) along with reporting, business process and security.
  • Strong detailed and conceptual thinking skills to analyze sophisticated problems and propose solutions despite technical and operational constraints.
  • A passion for automating systems & guiding teams to streamline their workflows.
  • Proven experience launching and driving multiple system implementations requiring change management communication.
  • A mind for detail—you are detail-oriented and have patience to audit and dive deep into HR data to determine patterns and check for inaccuracies.
  • Ability to build collaborative, trustworthy relationships across functions and geographies.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree preferred.
  • 10+ years Global HRIS experience ideally in the high-tech industry.
  • 5+ years building and leading high-performing global HR Technology teams
  • Proven experience leading the implementation of multiple modules of a global HRIS system (preferably across various platforms including SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and integrations to maintain optimal system performance.
