Opportunity Overview
Software (IG-XL) Product Manager – Semiconductor Compute Test Division
As a Software (IG-XL) Product Manager at Teradyne, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of software products supporting our semiconductor test platforms. You will:
- Lead the definition and execution of long-term software vision, including financial justification, engineering execution, and release planning.
- Develop and benchmark industry and competitive software offerings to inform product strategy.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Development, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to align business systems and processes with product goals.
- Build and execute go-to-market plans for new software products, crafting compelling messaging and positioning for diverse markets (HPC/AI, Mobility, Automotive Digital).
- Support customer-facing field teams throughout product rollout and lifecycle management, including beta, concept, and usability testing.
- Partner with account teams across Datacenter/Compute, Mobility, and Automotive-Digital business units to deliver innovative solutions.
- Sustain/Ensure seamless technology transitions for customers and manage the software portfolio lifecycle.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent experience.
- Experience in software product management, preferably in semiconductor or high-tech industries.
- Software product management, software development, test program design, and high-volume production workflows.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive solution adoption.
- Strong understanding of software development and lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies (a plus).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in semiconductor or high-tech industries.
- Proven track record in driving recurring revenue growth and “first to market” initiatives.
Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $151,100-$241,800. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
