Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in C# supporting hardware product systems development. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our dynamic team and will participate in developing complex test solutions for the emerging microLED market at all stages of fabrication, from wafer probe to packaged test. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in the field of instrumentation.
- Lead the architectural design of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, performance, and security
- Translate business requirements and system needs into clear architectural solutions and technical standards
- Review and guide design decisions, code, and implementation approaches to ensure architectural integrity
- Utilize extensive C# experience to design, develop, and implement high-quality software instrumentation solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver robust software applications
- Develop comprehensive understanding of test system and interdependencies
- Propose, design, and implement new test strategies
- Technical leader of software team
- Python knowledge is a plus, contributing to the versatility and adaptability of the development team

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline; master’s degree is preferred
- 10+ years experience programming instrumentation, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry best practices; experience will be supporting hardware product systems development
- Proven expertise in C# development, showcasing proficiency in creating efficient and scalable software solutions
- Experienced programming various types of sensors, specifically motion control systems and cameras
- Familiarity with version control systems, specifically GIT, is advantageous
- Excellent troubleshooting, debugging and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Operating Systems: Windows
- Development Tools experience preferred: Visual Studio, Jira
- Background and/or experience with embedded programming is preferred
- Semiconductor testing knowledge is preferred
- Dedication to excellence, efficiency and product quality
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment
- Ability to decompose complex projects into well‑defined, actionable tasks with clear ownership and timelines
Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $192,700 - $308,300. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
