The Learning and Development Manager will ignite a passion for continuous learning through interactive, memorable, and innovative experiences that maximize the potential of our greatest asset- our employees.

 

You will partner closely with business unit senior leaders and HR to understand, scope, and prioritize where learning solutions or strategies can best drive business outcomes and help to influence and shape the employee experience.

 

 

The Role You Play

  • Develop the infrastructure for all training and development programs by establishing standardized methods and procedures for request, development, delivery, evaluation, measurement, and reporting
  • Collaborate with team managers across the business to understand what training gaps currently exist and build a roadmap of department and level-based training to up-skill current employees (Teradyne Core Curriculum)
  • Build a best-in-class onboarding program across various departments and levels, working with function leaders, people managers, recruiters, and people business partners to uncover key talent development areas that will set new hires up for success.
  • Connect performance improvements to metrics and behaviors that are important to the business
  • Generate and pursue fresh perspectives, breakthrough ideas, and new paradigms to create value for the organization
  • Create engaging learning experiences, content, and visuals that make complex skills simple and easy to learn

 

What You Bring

  • Strong experience with internal consulting and/or client management
  • Ability to project manage and/or program manage
  • Experience designing, developing, executing, and overseeing others doing similar work on your projects – all that will result in engaging learning experiences
  • Intermediate/Advanced experience using tools for visual and multimedia design
  • 6-8 years of experience in instructional design, adult learning, user experience, or related field
  • Excellent collaboration and consulting skills
  • Experience influencing and challenging to see a different perspective  
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple concurrent objectives or activities while meeting deadlines
  • Experience managing a LMS required (SAP SuccessFactors preferred); familiar with instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles; experience with content creation, authoring tools (i.e. Articulate), and video editing preferred

 

Education: 

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
