Opportunity Overview

At Teradyne, we're committed to innovation through collective expertise. As a Machine Learning Intern, you'll engage with practical challenges by leveraging your analytical abilities in data analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling. Work alongside seasoned professionals to gain insights from intricate data, playing a key role in forging groundbreaking solutions that propel our company ahead. You will be engaged in data preparation, visualization, statistical analysis, and predictive model crafting. We welcome students from Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or similar disciplines who are proficient in Python, SQL, and standard data science tools. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze complex datasets to uncover patterns and insights. 
  • Develop and refine machine learning models for practical implementation. 
  • Support data processing, evaluation, and model optimization tasks. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into AI solutions. 

This positon is 40 hours per week onsite in North Reading MA.  It will start as early as January 2026 with the possibility to extend through the summer.

  • Pursuing or obtained a master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related areas of study. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools. 
  • Familiarity with AI agent framework (e.g. Autogen, Gemini Enterprise, LangChain) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow). 

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

Compensation:
The base hourly range for this role is $25.50-$47.00. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
