Opportunity Overview
The NPI Operations team is seeking a Project Manager to join the team. NPI Operations Project Managers collaborate with their New Product Operations team members to transition our products from prototype to production release in a fast-paced development cycle. Prototype work is executed on-site in North Reading, giving you the opportunity to have hands-on experience in manufacturing a product. Transfer of the product to Low Cost Region production suppliers allows opportunity for travel overseas. Integrated System Level Test solutions are customer device-based, creating continuous new solutions and new products to enable quick customer ramp of semiconductor devices to the market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Owning the project strategy for Supply Chain, Cost, Planning, Buying, Manufacturing processes and High Volume Product introduction
- Managing the NPI team strategy for multi-level, large part count Bills of Materials for highly complex electro-mechanical products and system configuration
- Managing Operations project headcount, project spend, project schedule and risk management
- Representation of Operations NPI team on Core project teams, to enable required NPI deliverables, escalations, and risks at the project level
- Coordinating all NPI activities to integrate with functional groups including Design Engineering, Supply Base Management, Test Development Engineering and Operations for a successful new product transfer
- Responsible for first build, subsequent builds, and production build strategies, including capacity/resource planning
- Collaborating with each functional group to identify, prioritize, and act on meeting project timelines and risk management
- Fostering communications with the cost manager and Supply Line groups to develop, analyze, monitor, and meet cost structures and models
- Spearhead the NPI Operations team and the Contract Manufacturer in developing and implementing product transfer plans to the low-cost region contract manufacturers
- Ensuring development deliverables met to enable smooth transfer of New Product to High Volume team
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience of project management in an Operations role, including knowledge of inventory, capacity, material gathering, engineering, and finance aspects of manufacturing and outsourcing of electromechanical systems and PCBAs
- Ability to succeed in a highly agile environment that requires attention to detail while maintaining a broad scope of vision to implement sourcing/planning change
- Candidates must be able to work without supervision
- Skilled with presentation software tools are helpful
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are a necessity
- A team player that has a high level of flexibility, and will work toward common goals inter-departmentally and cross-functionally
- Nominal travel is a possibility (10%)
- Demonstrated pre-emptive planning and spearheading skills as well as a proven ability to envision and implement change (problem identification and solution recommendation, and implementation)
- Bachelors degree required

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $81,400.00 -$130,300.00. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
