Opportunity Overview
- Lead and develop a team of PCB layout engineers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and performance guidance
- Oversee PCB layout execution, ensuring designs meet electrical, mechanical, quality, and manufacturability requirements
- Collaborate with hardware engineering, project management, manufacturing, and global ECAD partners to deliver complex programs
- Review and approve PCB layouts, focusing on functionality, cost, reliability, and design-for-manufacturability
- Ensure adherence to industry standards (IPC) and Teradyne design processes while driving continuous improvement
- Support project planning, resource allocation, and delivery commitments across multiple concurrent programs

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in PCB design, layout, or hardware engineering
- 2+ years of experience leading or managing engineers, projects, or technical teams
- Strong expertise in multi‑layer PCB design, high‑speed routing, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
- Hands‑on experience with PCB design tools such as Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, KiCad, or similar
- Working knowledge of IPC standards and PCB quality best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot complex layout issues and guide technical decision‑making
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering and manufacturing teams
- Proven organizational and project management skills in a fast‑paced environment
We are only considering candidates local to the position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $151,800 - 242,800. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
