Opportunity Overview
Teradyne is seeking a Product Manager to join our growing team! This role will report to the Director of Product Marketing of the Power Semiconductor Group.  In this role you will help drive the growth and profitability of our power semiconductor test solutions.  The role involves collaborating cross-functionally across Teradyne, including with marketing, engineering, sales, finance and operations. You will work alongside our customers who are a wide range of innovative, international semiconductor companies.

 

  • Identify global market trends and emerging customers.
  • Grow market share by prioritizing, targeting, and supporting strategic design-in activities, including competitive differentiation and resource trade-offs.
  • Evaluate adjacent market opportunities, justify and champion new market entries and develop comprehensive Go-to-Market plans 
  • Product management of related product lines, including product life cycle management, sales systems support, and forecasting to drive inventory decisions
  • Develop strategic customer relationships in cooperation with sales.
  • Synthesize market and business results and forecast to support Quarterly Business Reviews, investor relations, and the executive management team.
  • Development of the Power Semiconductor mid-term plans, including the forward looking four year market size, share, margins, and core investments required to execute the plan.

  • Technical background is required with strong analytical skills; demonstrated engineering leadership is a strong advantage
  • BS, preferably in electrical engineering.
  • 8 years of marketing and/or sales experience would be ideal, preferably in semiconductor industry
  • MBA preferred, or equivalent managerial experience.
  • This position requires a person with very strong leadership, analytical, synthesis and integration skills that would be deployed across all functions of the business and at all levels.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Travel of 20 – 30% to be expected.

Compensation: 
The base salary range for this role is $136,500- $215,000. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.  

 

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
