Opportunity Overview
The Program Manager is responsible for the successful management of schedule and scope management of multiple projects and or oversight of major Mil Aero programs. The successful candidate must be able to lead cross functional teams, be proficient on understanding all contract requirements, produce and manage an integrated master schedule, manage change, identify critical paths and recommend mitigation paths (early), escalate issues, and take an active role in getting decisions made in a timely manner. Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the proposal process
- Supporting Sales in closing activities
- Review contract for acceptance
- Facilitating the creation of project / program schedules.
- Identify and coordinate internal and external resources to execute the plan.
- Integrate various engineering, marketing, applications and support groups in the initiating, planning and execution of assigned projects.
- Monitor and close programs/projects to achieve program objectives.
- Use industry standard techniques and tools to measure progress against product and program objectives.
- Drive proactive corrective action where required.
- Manage scope change control activities, and communicate periodic project assessment to sponsors.
- Synthesizing data and present program overview status to stake holders
- Identify critical paths and recommended mitigation paths

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required
- BS in engineering or related field.
- MBA in an engineering discipline is desired.
- Eight years of experience in program / project management
- Technical background in ATE and Electronics is desired
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Engineering and/or Program Management background with experience in product development in the high technology industry.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills include the ability to communicate and foster communication between project groups.
- Experience with the Sales Force application
- Experience cross collaborating with multiple geographic locations
