Opportunity Overview

What you’ll do as a Project Manager within the Inventory Planning team:

  • Monitor and analyze the impact of discontinuance notices issued by our raw material suppliers.
  • Prioritize actions based on Last Time Buy (LTB) deadline and potential cost impact.
  • Notify the affected stakeholders and provide an executive summary of problem statement and next steps.
  • Collaborate and integrate with cross functional teams to identify appropriate solutions for discontinuance notices.
  • Engineering to qualify replacements and approval for production use.
  • Commodity Management (CM) to ensure supply chain can be supported during qualification period.
  • Sales and Marketing to obtain supply run out and LTB requirements based on Long Term forecast (LTF).
  • Finance and Senior Management for LTB recommendation approvals.
  • Help assemble and present LTB proposals to senior management.
  • Use a combination of Excel and Rapid Response MRP to complete LTB calculations and analysis.
  • Use PowerPoint to present executive summary and recommendations.
  • Engage in standardization and continuous improvement projects for Inventory and Discontinuance processes.
  • Identify opportunities to utilize AI capabilities to help make daily processes more efficient. Lead efforts to implement these capabilities.
  • Participate in process documentation efforts to ensure key tasks performed by our group are outlined properly for cross-training purposes.

  • BA/BS degree with Business / Operations focus.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and summarize complex data.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and AI tools for data analysis and automation.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and proactive in prioritizing and escalating issues independently.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to senior managers and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Thorough knowledge of MRP concepts and Planning.

Compensation: 
The base salary range for this role is $63,400-$101,500. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.  

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
