Opportunity Overview:

We are seeking a Systems Quality Engineer specializing in System-Level Validation, Integration Testing, and Test Automation to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of complex software and hardware solutions used in semiconductor test and automation environments. You will work closely with Software, Systems, Hardware, Applications, and Product Engineering teams to validate end-to-end system functionality, troubleshoot technical issues, and drive quality improvements throughout the product development lifecycle.

As a Systems Quality, you will:

System Validation & Integration

 

Lead the planning, development, and execution of system-level test strategies, validation plans, test cases, and test procedures for complex software and hardware solutions.

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test solutions to validate functionality, reliability, performance, scalability, and end-to-end system workflows.

• Execute and coordinate system-level, integration, and end-to-end testing activities while documenting results, identifying quality risks, and driving issues through resolution.

• Troubleshoot and isolate complex issues spanning software, hardware, networking, configuration, and integrated system components while partnering with cross-functional engineering teams to identify root causes.

• Contribute to and help drive improvements in quality engineering processes, test methodologies, automation frameworks, test coverage, and validation practices to improve product quality and team efficiency.

• Develop and enhance test automation solutions using modern programming and scripting languages, supporting increased automation coverage and integration into CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Development, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Applications Engineering, and QE teams to influence validation strategies, release readiness, and quality objectives.

• Analyze test results, quality metrics, system behavior, and defect trends to identify product risks, recommend corrective actions, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

• Support release activities, quality assessments, and risk-based testing efforts to ensure product readiness and customer success.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to adoption of quality engineering and automation best practices across the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, Systems Validation, or a related engineering discipline.

• Experience performing system-level, integration, and end-to-end testing of complex software and hardware systems.

• Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking fundamentals, and system-level troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and experience working with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues spanning multiple system components and technologies.

• Experience analyzing test results, identifying quality risks, and driving issues to resolution through collaboration with engineering teams.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence technical discussions and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as C#, C++, Python, PowerShell, or Bash to support test automation, tooling, data analysis, and system-level validation activities.

• Experience working within Agile development environments using tools such as Jira.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $129,600 - $207,400. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location. 

 

Incentive Plan: 

This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
