Opportunity Overview
The Release Technical Lead for IGXL is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of software releases supporting the IGXL product platform. This role serves as a key bridge between Software Engineering, Product Management, Program Management, Quality Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, predictable, and timely software releases.
- Lead end-to-end release management activities for IGXL software products.
- Establish and maintain release schedules, milestones, dependencies, and readiness criteria.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to coordinate feature delivery, integration, validation, and deployment activities.
- Drive release governance processes, including release reviews, risk assessments, and change control activities.
- Track and communicate release status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and leadership.
- Partner with Quality Engineering to ensure appropriate test coverage, defect management, and release quality metrics.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment across engineering, product management, operations, and support organizations.
- Define and continuously improve release management processes, tools, and best practices.
- Support multiple concurrent releases while balancing competing priorities and business objectives.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for release-related challenges.
- Develop metrics and reporting to measure release predictability, quality, and operational effectiveness.
All About You
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience leading software release management activities within a complex engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and hybrid development models.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and managing delivery dependencies.
- Knowledge of software configuration management, version control, build systems, and release automation practices.
- Demonstrated ability to identify risks, drive resolution plans, and influence stakeholders across organizations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience working with enterprise software products, automated test systems, or semiconductor-related technologies is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex problems, influence outcomes, and lead initiatives across functional boundaries, consistent with advanced professional and management competencies.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $105,300 - $168,500. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
