The Role

The Senior Manager, Talent Strategy, Programs, & Operations for the Global Talent COE is of critical importance to the ongoing success of Teradyne. Reporting to the Head of Global Talent, this individual will be responsible for the overall operational excellence strategy, tools, training, standards, and metrics for the global TA organization while supporting and enabling Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.


Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership to build and drive key strategies to source, screen, select, and finalize the hiring of top talent
  • Set the strategy, provide guidance and subject matter expertise to the global recruiting team on various TA initiatives
  • In partnership with Corporate Communications, lead Teradyne and its subsidiaries employer branding initiatives with a unified messaging framework to attract talent while allowing for differentiation of each company’s uniqueness
  • Strategize with executives, leaders, hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and HR Field organizations on various talent solutions
  • Enhance and sustain an effective and responsive global campus recruitment framework and function that partners with various key internal stakeholders and which can be globalized and localized
  • Coordinate with 3rd party vendors and agencies to ensure that all services related to Talent Acquisition are meeting the needs of the organization
  • Network and benchmark regularly with industry peers to understand the latest advances in the Talent Acquisition environment
  • Present recruitment metrics, strategic sourcing plan, and drive obtainable areas for improvement
  • Utilize, adhere, and train recruiters on recruitment systems, policies, procedures, tools, and templates to ensure streamlined, effective, and high-quality services are delivered
  • Ensure compliance with relevant local and federal regulations and requirements, including but not limited to, OFCCP, EEOC, Federal Selection Guidelines, and the Americans with Disabilities Act
  • Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives within the talent acquisition function, offering team resources and recommendations to achieve goals
  • Drive process improvements around systems, tools, and enhanced sourcing capabilities
  • Develop Onboarding strategy to increase new hire engagement and effectiveness
  • Attend or ensure team participation if needed around career fairs, and special events to promote our careers
  • Share and evaluate best practices and standard operating procedures
  • Lead the design, benchmark & analysis, and overall strategy for Teradyne's global mobility programs


Candidate Profile/Background:

  • BA and/or 10+ years of relevant, end-to-end recruitment experience with a strong emphasis on strategic process excellence & recruiting operations leadership
  • Passionate customer focus, who values effective consultation and partnership with business line leadership
  • Ability to use data analysis and data visualization skills to influence business leaders and decision-making
  • Sense of urgency with thoughtful execution and project ownership
  • Team player with proven experience building strong relationships through collaboration and networking
  • Solid understanding of US and global employment laws and regulations
  • Problem-solving skills, demonstrated experience handling challenging issues in a diverse and dynamic environment
  • Well-developed and highly effective organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to objectively coach, mentor, and develop team members
  • Experience in the configuration/design of HRIS Talent Acquisition solutions – preferably SAP SuccessFactors
  • Excellent MS Office skills (advanced PowerPoint and Excel)
