Opportunity Overview
Teradyne is seeking a highly creative college intern to join our Silicon Photonics Test Solutions Team on-site in North Reading, MA. This team is responsible for developing industry-leading products for measuring silicon photonic devices. You'll work closely with various engineering disciplines, software, test, and operations teams to tackle complex problems and find innovative solutions.

• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Optical engineers, and Test Development engineers to solve problems
• Collaborate with junior and senior engineers on system integration
• Debug issues with prototype hardware
• Perform basic software coding and test programs for lab equipment automation

• Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in optics, or engineering
• Hands-on lab experience with optical equipment or fiber optics is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to plot data for analysis
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Eagerness to learn and unafraid to ask questions
