Opportunity Overview
In this role, the ideal candidate will:
- Work with experienced software engineers to design, implement, test, and deploy software components for the UltraFLEX/UltraFLEXPlus family of Automated Test Equipment
- Work with software verification engineers to devise, document and execute effective test strategies and plans
- This role has some hybrid flexibility however the candidate must be able to work on-site at the North Reading office.
This internship starts in late May or early June and continues through August

Basic Qualifications & Skills
- Able to clearly express your ideas and concepts both written and verbally
- Capable to do object-oriented software design, and implementation
- Proficiency in C++, C# and .NET development or Java
- Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms, and operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Programming Concepts
- Experience with development tools: Visual Studio, Clearcase/Git
- Basic analog circuit design and prior ATE experience is a plus.
Education
- Current student at an accredited college or university
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with Computer Science Minor
- GPA of 3.5 out of 4 or better
- Prior coop/intern experience preferred
- Demonstrated organizational qualities through projects or extracurricular activities
We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

Compensation:
The base hourly range for this role is $25.50-$47.00. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
