The Director of Strategic Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for driving new growth and share expansion in our production test capital equipment business.   This is an individual contributor position. 

This role requires a dynamic, results-oriented, and disciplined professional who can develop & execute strategic sales initiatives, collaborate across international teams, and provide accurate feedback to the organization. 

 

Key Responsibilities:
1.    Business Development


o    Identify and pursue multi-national business opportunities and partnerships in the electronic production test capital equipment market.
o    Build and grow influence networks within large customer organizations. Identify customer stakeholders in purchase decisions.
o    Assist in negotiating contracts and agreements with clients.

 

2.    Client Relationship Management:


o    Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential key clients.
o    Understand client needs and collaborate with product development and engineering teams to tailor solutions.
o    Use strategic selling strategies to develop organizational awareness and communicate to internal team members.

 

3.    Market:

o    Participate in identifying market trends, customer needs, and competitive advantages/ landscape.
o    Use market insights to make informed decisions and adapt the sales strategy as needed.

 

4.    Cross-functional Collaboration:

o    Collaborate with other departments and regions in Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment and support for growth objectives.

 

Qualifications:


•    Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, engineering, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
•    Proven track record of at least 10 years in capital equipment sales with demonstrated key account break-in success.
•    Strong understanding of capital equipment, multi-level organizational selling, sales strategy, and identification of customer formal/informal goals.
•    Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
•    Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
•    Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
•    Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.
•    Willingness to travel as needed.
