Opportunity Overview

 

The Technical Project Manager plays a critical role within the IST organization by coordinating product upgrade activities and leading product safety response initiatives. This position works cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Support Engineering, Documentation, Manufacturing, and Field Service teams to ensure successful execution of system upgrades and product safety programs throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Lead the planning and execution of product upgrade programs across the IST division.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to identify required BOMs, components, and materials needed to support product upgrades.
  • Coordinate the procurement and ordering of parts to ensure upgrade readiness and execution schedules are maintained.
  • Partner with Global Field Service teams to schedule system downtime and upgrade deployment activities.
  • Coordinate worldwide shipment of upgrade components and materials to customer locations.
  • Work closely with Documentation teams to create and maintain upgrade procedures and work instructions.
  • Partner with Product Support Engineering to validate upgrade processes and ensure deployment readiness.
  • Lead the Product Safety Response (PSR) process for IST, coordinating cross-functional activities related to product safety investigations, communications, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
  • Sustain and ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and completion of product upgrade and product safety initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to drive continuous improvement of upgrade and safety response processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Experience coordinating complex cross-functional projects and programs.
  • Experience working with engineering documentation, BOMs, and product lifecycle processes.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing procurement, logistics, or materials planning activities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Engineering, Product Support, Documentation, Manufacturing, and Field Service organizations.
  • Experience supporting product upgrade, service, or product support programs preferred.
  • Knowledge of product safety, quality, compliance, or corrective action processes preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to execution excellence.

Compensation: 
The base salary range for this role is $81,400 to 130,300. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.  

 

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
