Responsibilities

 

Engineers in NPI Process Engineering will have the opportunity to experience a range of activities, which vary week to week and sometimes day to day. These include:

 

  • Hands on production testing of electronic devices validating process, and products
  • Data analysis of test result looking for trends
  • Documentation of test processes and analysis for improvements
  • Interface with Senior Process Engineers, Pilot Production, and Manufacturing Engineers solving complex problems in a highly collaborative environment

 

Basic Qualifications & Skills

 

  • Appropriate understanding of hardware based on current education level (AC-DC analysis, op amps, filters, DSP, DAC/ ADC, digital circuitry, RF Principals).
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Team player and able to maintain professional decorum with peers and in a high energy and highly variable new product/engineering environment.
  • Desirable to have experience with basic lab equipment
  • Desirable to have basic understand of at least one common coding or scripting language
  • Ability to work on-site in North Reading, MA. (Unfortunately we are unable to provide relocation or housing assistance).
  • Available for a 6 month co-op. 

 

Education

 

Minimum second semester Sophomore year BSEET (B.S. Electrical Engineering Technology), BSEE (B.S. Electrical Engineering), (B.S Electronic Engineering) or equivalent.
