As part of our team, you’ll work with global leaders Universal Robots (UR) and Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR), driving innovation that enhances manufacturing, logistics and workplaces across the world.

Your role

As our new ESG & Environmental Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with environmental, sustainability, and regulatory requirements across the organization.

Reporting to the Quality Director and working closely with our ESG Specialist, you will be part of a QHSE team of three colleagues. In this cross-functional role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business and supply chain to drive ESG initiatives, strengthen our environmental performance, and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.

You will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with EU environmental legislation, customer requirements, and ISO 14001 standards while supporting Teradyne's broader sustainability ambitions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and implement relevant EU environmental regulations, including RoHS, REACH, POP, PPWR, EUDR, CSRD, Ecodesign, PFAS, the Green Claims Directive, and the Battery Regulation.

  • Ensure compliance with ESG-related regulations, environmental standards, and customer requirements.

  • Drive and support ESG initiatives across business units.

  • Lead the collection, validation, and consolidation of ESG data from internal and external stakeholders.

  • Manage internal and external ESG reporting, including CSRD-related disclosures.

  • Establish and continuously improve ESG data management and reporting processes.

  • Collaborate closely with Supply Base Management and suppliers to support environmental compliance throughout the supply chain.

  • Plan and conduct internal ISO 14001 audits and participate in customer audits.

  • Ensure timely follow-up and closure of corrective actions resulting from audits.

  • Support continuous improvement of the integrated management system and ensure environmental considerations are embedded in new product development.

  • Advise stakeholders on ESG requirements, best practices, and regulatory developments.

  • Represent the company in Teradyne’s global ESG steering team and contribute to aligning ESG best practices and strategy across the enterprise.

Qualifications & Experience

We imagine that you bring:

  • A relevant educational background, preferably at Bachelor's degree level or higher.

  • Experience from a similar ESG, sustainability, compliance, environmental, or QHSE role.

  • Hands-on experience with ESG frameworks, data collection, and reporting.

  • Strong project management skills and a structured, data-driven approach.

  • Solid understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Experience from a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.

  • Experience working with suppliers and supply chain compliance is considered a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

  • ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification, or willingness to obtain it.

Who You Are

You are proactive, persistent, and motivated by driving improvements. You thrive in a role that requires collaboration across functions while also being able to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities.

You have a strong sense of structure, can manage multiple priorities, and are comfortable challenging the status quo to drive positive change.
