Opportunity Overview
We offer you a unique opportunity to lead and develop the EMEA Regional HR function supporting Teradyne Robotics (Universal Robots, Mobile Industrial Robots) as well as Teradyne. Based at our Robotics headquarters in Odense, Denmark, this hands-on leadership role oversees the delivery of HR support across EMEA, ensuring alignment with global HR strategy, regional business priorities, and local organizational needs. The EMEA region includes approximately 1,200 employees, with around 750 based in Odense and 450 spread across multiple countries.

In this fast-paced, international environment, you will shape the regional HR function, strengthen the HR structure, drive operational excellence, ensure local compliance, and enhance cross-regional collaboration. You will work closely with the HR Service Center (HRSC), HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and global Centers of Excellence (CoEs), playing a pivotal role in advancing Teradyne’s global HR operating model in EMEA — ensuring both global consistency and local relevance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and strengthen the EMEA Regional HR team to deliver high-quality, business-aligned HR support across countries.
  • Drive operational transformation by partnering with the HR Service Center to transition Tier 1 transactional activities, ensuring process efficiency, standardization, and consistent employee experience.
  • Focus on Tier 2 regional HR responsibilities, including execution of core HR processes, employee relations, compliance, and manager coaching, tailored to local market and organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs (Tier 3) and CoEs to implement global HR programs and frameworks in areas such as talent development, total rewards, and organizational design.
  • Provide expert guidance on employment law, employee relations, and HR practices across multiple EMEA countries, ensuring compliance and alignment with company values and policies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Payroll, and Legal to deliver seamless end-to-end HR operations and ensure accuracy in employee lifecycle processes.
  • Lead or contribute to regional and global HR initiatives, including organizational transformation, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Coach and support people managers on employee relations, performance management, and development to build leadership capability across the region.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing HR culture, ensuring continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 10 years of broad HR experience, including regional leadership and strategic partnering in an international environment.
  • Strong understanding of EMEA employment laws and local HR practices.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage transformation initiatives.
  • Skilled in balancing operational excellence with strategic partnership.
  • Confident in using HR systems and data (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors) to support decisions and monitor performance.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Passionate about building strong teams, driving change, and making a lasting impact.
