Opportunity Overview 
The Teradyne Field Applications team is looking for a highly motivated, energetic and driven Field Application Engineer, who will work collaboratively with the team as well as independently to determine and develop imaginative, thorough, and practical application solutions. 

• Develop test techniques focused on Power discrete and Linear products
• Develop new test techniques using C/C++ and application board design to address new or enhanced customer requirements
• Address customer support issues on complex problems
• Develop strong working relationships with the factory teams, marketing, and engineering groups
• Work with sales to pursue new opportunities and provide technical input

• BS degree in either Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 2+ years of industry experience 
• Must have strong, hands-on hardware experience using lab equipment, such as:  digital multimeter, High Speed Oscilloscopes and Waveform generators
• Must have strong programming experience in C, C++
• Must have strong analytical skills and practical problem-solving skills
• Must be proficient in Windows and Excel
• Must have excellent communications skills, Verbal, presentation and documentation
• Must have ability to work both within a team and independently
• Must be able to travel up to 20% or greater
• Experience with ATE equipment particularly Eagle test systems is highly desired
• Experience in Discrete, High-Power Modules, or Linear devices is highly desired
• High power AC testing experience is a plus
• Must be able to carry auto liability or minimum insurance due to automotive responsibilities

Compensation: 
The base salary range for this role is $77,200- 123,600. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
