Opportunity Overview
Are you a hands-on HR professional who enjoys being close to the business and supporting employees and managers in a local, fast-moving environment? We are seeking a proactive and service-minded Field HR Partner for Israel to join our Regional HR team. In this role, you will be the local HR point of contact for managers and employees in Israel, providing practical guidance, coaching, and high-quality HR support while ensuring alignment with Teradyne’s global standards and local employment requirements.
The Field HR Partner, Israel will be accountable for the execution and delivery of HR processes, services, and solutions for the local employee population, ensuring operational excellence, strong employee experience, and close partnership with managers. The role will support Tier II HR matters, partner with Strategic HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Excellence, and act as a trusted local advisor on employee relations, performance, onboarding, policy application, HR operations, and compliance with Israeli employment practices.

Employee Relations: Provide timely, fair, and practical support on employee relations matters in Israel, ensuring consistency, confidentiality, and alignment with local employment laws, company policies, and Teradyne’s values.

Performance Management: Coach managers and employees through annual performance processes, goal setting, feedback conversations, performance improvement actions, and day-to-day case management.

Talent Management & Compensation: Support employee growth, retention, compensation planning, talent reviews, development conversations, and local workforce needs in close collaboration with Strategic HR Business Partners and relevant Centers of Excellence.

HR Operations: Ensure smooth execution of local HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, contract and employment documentation coordination, policy application, workforce data updates, and compliance with internal procedures.

Business and Manager Support: Act as a trusted HR advisor to local managers and employees, providing coaching and guidance on routine HR matters, organizational changes, employee engagement, and practical people-related decisions.

Talent Acquisition Support: Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to support recruitment activity in Israel, including role alignment, interview guidance, onboarding readiness, and a positive candidate-to-employee transition.

Onboarding, Development and Engagement: Support new hire onboarding and assimilation, coordinate local training deployment, promote employee engagement activities, and help managers build strong team capability.

Data and Insights: Use HR data, employee trends, and local insights to identify risks, support workforce planning, and inform practical decision-making for the Israel business.

HR Projects and Regional Collaboration: Contribute to regional HR initiatives, process improvements, policy updates, and local implementation of global HR programs, ensuring solutions are practical and relevant for Israel.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, or a related field preferred

Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a field HR, HR generalist, or HR partner role within an international or matrix organization

Fluent Hebrew and strong English communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with employees, managers, regional HR colleagues, and global stakeholders

Proven experience managing employee relations matters with sound judgment, fairness, consistency, confidentiality, and awareness of Israeli employment practices

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Skillful in listening and ascertaining the needs and concerns of people and in communicating information concerning processes, policies, and procedures with accuracy and clarity

Commitment to maintaining the highest levels of ethical conduct, confidentiality, and professionalism

Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail

Good working knowledge of Israeli employment laws, local HR practices, and employee lifecycle processes, with the ability to seek legal or specialist guidance where required

Experience working with HR systems, data reporting, Microsoft Office tools, and shared service models; ability to travel locally or regionally when required
