Senior HR Partner (France, Italy and Switzerland)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our EMEA Human Resources team on a full-time permanent contract reporting to the EMEA Regional HR Manager.

Based in Paris (Suresnes) you will focus on France and support the EMEA Human Resources team as needed for all areas of administration across the end-to-end employment life cycle, including the areas of onboarding and leavers, leave processing and payroll support.

You will provide support across our Semi-Test, STG, OPS, LP in Israel and GAA Division/BUs across EMEA.

The Senior HR Partner will bring innovative ideas and tangible contributions to talent attraction and recruitment. Acting as a Recruiter you will develop and maintain recruitment plans and drive implementation, coordinate day to day recruitment activities, optimize recruitment processes with the goal to setting up lean, modern and flexible recruitment procedures; enhance outreach to potential candidates and manage the pool of successful candidates, contribute to embedding diversity, equity and inclusion considerations in recruitment.

The jobholder is also responsible and works with management in the development and optimization of HR databases and specific HR tools.

 

Key Responsibilities Include

General HR activities

  • Manages HR inquiry and transactional escalation to ensure alignment across the enterprise on the delivery of HR Strategy
  • Draft decisions, policies, procedures, briefings, notes in the area of human resources;
  • Manage processes, projects and contracts, control quality and ensure compliance;
  • Develop and design presentations and other communication material, guide and give high quality advice to internal stakeholders
  • Provide a range of administrative services to employees from joining to expiry of contract.
  • Key part of the HR department, supporting the HR team with all HR related activities.
  • Follow up and coordinate employees’ annual leave balance, sick leave, update SuccessFactor Thrive (HRMS), maintaining personal files
  • Perform various administrative duties to support HR records and administration requirements in line with compliance and record keeping requirements.
  • Provide HR information for monthly payroll completion.
  • Ensure the local legal requirements are strictly adhered to
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Supports the development of contracts for new hires, promotions and transfers
  • Manages and resolves a wide range of employee relations issues in partnership with the Regional HR Manager, HRPB and Legal Department. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations as appropriate
  • Manages and maintains ER procedures and practices to ensure compliance, enhance the employee experience
  • Leverages data, dashboards and analytics to show progress and trends across Teradyne goals
  • Leads the operational integration and advises on executing business change including acquisitions, restructurings and reorganizations
  • Assist during the “Performance Management” such as ensure global annual performance management process implementation locally, support local management to identify employee relations issues and take appropriate action; develop performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Assist and support on all Compensation and benefits related topics
  • Employee Engagement such as co-partner & support business groups local post-survey improvement plan, employee exit interviews
  • “Talent Development”, such as co-partner & support local department specific talent development programs or leadership development needs to develop our local talents and leadership.

 

HR metrics and reporting  

  • Produce and optimize statistical reports, human resources metrics and maintaining relative databases;
  • Improve data quality and reliability of HR statistics;
  • Assist in the preparation and optimization of regular HR reports with the coordination and production of relevant data and key performance indicators;

Digital transformation and HR tools

  • Facilitate and accompany HR digital transformation process: analyze HR business processes with internal stakeholders and identify supporting technology needs, including the promotion of technology and tools to boost the efficiency and improvement of the HR processes;
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of Human Resources databases and specific HR tools;
  • Ensure that HR IT systems/tools and processes are effective, aligned, and compliant with HR policies and GDPR requirements

 

Qualifications

Required Education Level

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master in HR field desired

Required Experience and skills

  • Strong experience in similar HR role, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects/tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement
  • Demonstrated experience with problem-solving and prioritization in an innovative environment
  • Have a growth mentality- Love solving and analyzing problems to build “third way” solutions
  • Know how to set priorities and deliver what you commit to
