Opportunity Overview:

We are recruiting a Prototype Assembler within NPI Team at Nextest, Teradyne Memory Business Unit.

  • The Prototype Assembler will be responsible for assembling, testing and repairing memory test equipment/fixture/tester.
  • Experience with building prototype fixtures with large sheet metal.
  • Experience with small hand tools/Power Tools. (screwdrivers, etc.)
  • Ability to understand and verify the Assembly Instruction/ Test Procedure / Drawing /BOM and provide feedback to Engineer.
  • The ability to read Assembly Drawing, basic schematics and wire diagrams is a plus.
  • Experience with a Digital Voltmeter

  • The ability to be on site 5 days a week. 7am-3:30pm
  • Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PDF, etc.)
  • 1-2 years of related experience is desired.
  • Ability of lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to communicate with cross functional personnel (Verbally and by email).
  • Needs to be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work overtime.

Compensation: 
The base salary range for this role is $40,000- 60,000. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
