Opportunity Overview
- Lead and supervise the team to achieve operational goals.
- Develop and manage employee work plans and schedules.
- Oversee new machine installation projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery according to plan.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on hard disk drive testing and smart storage machines, including components such as motors, drivers, sensors, actuators, pneumatic systems, and control panels.
- Continuously improving troubleshooting methods and processes.
- Develop preventive and corrective maintenance execution process and plan.
- Fluent in 8D reports using problem-solving tools such as FMEA, Fishbone Diagram, 5-Why, and 4W1H.
- Conduct regular meetings with customers to discuss installation plans, service activities, and provide daily/weekly service reports. Communicate effectively regarding issues, root causes, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnership.

- Strong understanding of mechatronic fundamentals:
- 60% : Solid knowledge of mechanical principles such as bearings, gearboxes, actuators, and pneumatic systems.
- 20% : knowledge of electrical fundamentals, including AC/DC principles, power distribution, protective devices, and grounding
- 20% : Knowledge of electronics fundamentals, including sensors, transducers, and analog/digital signals.
- Ability to use AI tools (preferably Microsoft solutions) or excel to analyze the data.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Solid presentation skills and effective communication in English.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively as part of a team, and lead a team to achieve objectives.
Desirable:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics is preferred or other relevant Engineering disciplines such as Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical.
- 5 years or above of experience in HDD test systems or service or maintenance or other precise automation related fields (preferred).
- Proven leadership experience managing a team of at least 3 employees.
