Statutory Accounting Analyst

Opportunity Overview

Your role is key in analyzing financial data to guide strategic decisions and ensuring the accuracy of an organization’s financial records. Furthermore, below are the duties and responsibilities.

• Reviewing and recording employee and vendor payments.
• Verify invoice details, match with purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies.
• Review BS reconciliation prepared by FSS, Credit and Collection.
• Conducting monthly and quarterly close processes and supporting Korea and  offshore affiliate entity accounting 
• Supporting all financial activities of the company and providing management report as needed
• Preparing financial statements of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP, Local GAAP), and company internal control and policies
• Reviewing and approving employee and vendor payments.
• Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Review BS reconciliation prepared by FSS, Credit and Collection.
• Assisting in year-end external audits.
• Assisting with internal audit and compliance.
• Keeping updated on new accounting standards and working with Operations/Business departments to implement process changes as a result of changes

• Degree in Accounting, AICPA preferred
• Proficient English communication in written and verbal
• At least 5 years working experience including GL Accountant role
• Familiar with Accounting standards (US GAAP) , internal control and policies
• Extensive knowledge in Korea tax rules/regulations, statutory compliance and constantly updated with current circulars and memorandums
• Extensive knowledge in general accounting, accounts payable and fixed assets
• Working knowledge in MS Excel (pivot, advance formula, chart and graphs)
•  Strong Critical-thinking skills, proactive and self-motivated and must be able to resolve financial issues professionally
• Must have the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
•  Exceptional communication and customer service skills
