Opportunity Overview

The Teradyne Storage field service team is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, technically driven Field Service Engineer who is:

Proven to be effective in consistently applying technical knowledge in achieving field service team department goal, include the system KPI, customer satisfaction, cost reduction or productivity breakthrough for Department or customers.

Proven to be effective in working with engineers, customers, product support group, and operations, etc. In terms of to improve the production system uptime, MTBF, MCBA, MTTR, to improve the slot availability to meet the commitment to customer.

Responsibilities

1.On-site service of the production (tester) system at the customer OSAT factories, include the downtime trouble shooting, jam recover, utilization improvement.

2.Performing the new system installation or any upgrade or retrofits.

3.Data collection and data first level analyzing to find the issues root causes such as the mechanical, electrical and automation problems

4.Daily on duty reporting of the major issues to the team.

5.Preventative maintenance per the guideline periodically.

6.Issues reporting and escalations internally.

7). Hold and represent TER to attend weekly 3-way meeting between customer, OSAT and TER.

1). Batchelor degree in electronics, Automation or related.

2). Minium 6 years work experience in Electronical or Mechanical or semiconductor areas.

3). 3+ years of field service experience for semiconductor automation testers.

4). High skills to do the Automation issues debugging and recovering,  automation logs or testing logs analysis.

5).Fluently to communicate in English both in writing and talking, need attend the 3-way call with customer and PSG team in English at weekly basis.

6).Strong reporting skills to use MS office, especially to use PPT to do the problems summary and presentation.

7).Strong communication skills and teamwork skills.

8).Able to business trip occasionally both in domestic and abroad.

9).Able to accept the shift work or Overtime work if needed.

10).Work location: Shanghai OSAT factory in JIN Qiao.
