Opportunity Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our software development team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and continuously improving software applications, engineering productivity tools, workflow automation platforms, and AI-assisted software engineering solutions for semiconductor test and automation.

• Own the requirements analysis, architecture and solution design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software applications, engineering tools, and automation platforms.
• Independently develop critical software modules, utilities, and engineering automation solutions while ensuring delivery quality and maintainability.
• Build and continuously improve engineering tools, workflow automation systems, and development infrastructure that increase R&D productivity.
• Analyze and diagnose complex technical issues, define solutions, and drive implementation and validation to closure.
• Participate in reviews of software architecture, interfaces, data flows, and technology choices; identify technical risks and recommend improvements.
• Establish and apply software engineering best practices for coding, testing, version control, release management, and operations.
• Collaborate with product, application engineering, test, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, manage dependencies, and drive project delivery.
• Create and maintain requirements specifications, design documents, test documentation, deployment instructions, and user guides.
• Contribute to AI-assisted software engineering initiatives by evaluating and implementing AI Coding Agents, intelligent engineering tools, and process optimization solutions.
• Configure, orchestrate, integrate, debug, monitor, and optimize Agent workflows to improve tool integration and collaboration among Agents.
• Provide technical support and share knowledge with team members, participate in code reviews, and help strengthen the team's engineering capabilities.

All About You

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant professional software development experience.
• Strong foundations in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, including but not limited to C#, Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript, with hands-on project development experience.
• Solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with experience in requirements analysis, system design, coding, debugging, testing, release, and maintenance.
• Ability to independently analyze and solve complex technical problems, exercise sound judgment with limited information, and drive issues to resolution.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools, as well as code review, unit testing, and defect management practices.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and technical writing skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
• Good written and reading proficiency in English, with the ability to read and produce technical documentation.
