Opportunity Overview

• Provides Production Support (Hardware and Software) activities to Teradyne’s customers in Malaysia. This includes supporting test equipment troubleshooting and break-fixing, analyzing problems, and recommending solutions on Teradyne ATE platforms to optimize customer production throughput.
• Apply electrical engineering principles to troubleshoot and solve problems on test instruments.
• Support test program release-to-production activities at the customer site.
• Interfaces with various support teams within Teradyne to deliver on Teradyne’s commitment to our customers.
• Provides remote technical support.
• Provides formal and on-the-job training to the customers.
• Provides active management of the assigned accounts.
• Escalates service issue and takes ownership of the issues until it is resolved.
• Any other duties as assigned.

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
• Strong team player with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• 2-3 years’ test/product engineering experience in IC component testing preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and your native language.
• Willing to travel.
• Knowledge of ‘C’ or Visual Basic programming and UNIX and/or Windows. Handler and prober interface experience
