Opportunity Overview
In this role, you have influence on the smooth running of our day-to-day operations in our production. You will be responsible for production planning and balancing production capacity plans to meet demand plans.
As a production planner you will ensure effective planning by setting the right pace in collaboration with production management team to ensure weekly output within our production targets set by our S&OP demand and supply team.
A key success parameter is to ensure strong collaboration with your key stakeholders in the Production Team, S&OP department, and support functions to the production. You should be able to navigate in a dynamic environment and mitigate potential production or supply issues to ensure delivery performance to meet customer satisfaction.
The role owns the end-to-end production planning cycle — from clear-to-build and clear-to-ship checks, through weekly and quarterly planning, to maintenance and clean-up of production data in the ERP (Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012) and MES (Siemens Opcenter).
Key responsibilities:
- Production planning and daily follow-up with the manufacturing team.
- Ensure that our operational production planning processes are integrated into shop floor plans and capacity planning.
- Aligning quarterly production output to meet S&OP demand plans.
- Supporting production as super user our Smart Manufacturing System.
- Ensuring phase-in products are planned into production.
- Supporting daily operations within the logistics areas with reports and ad hoc analysis as well as support with system and flow related questions
- Clean up and close production orders at end-of-week and check the production end log in batch jobs.
- Maintain MRP production execution setup (item numbers, routes).
- Track stock levels, review reports, and maintain correct inventory balances.
- Communicate with suppliers to secure raw materials and manage delivery schedules.
- Identify and resolve supply bottlenecks, delays, or stock discrepancies.
- Monitor supply chain performance metrics and prepare inventory reports.

- Bachelor’s degree in Operations/Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field or relevant experience required, MBA a plus
- 5+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain planning, master scheduling, or a related function in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in other regions of the world.
- Experience ERP/MRP systems,AX Dynamics is a plus
- APICS/ASCM CPIM certification or similar supply chain certification a plus

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $84,300-$121,900. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
